It was a crucial requirement for Bonkers to have a solution with built-in disaster recovery. Bonkers. ie opted for SenSys as we are experts in deploying IP solutions on a server with multiple levels of failover with automatic redirection for calls in the event of an unexpected occurrence such as a power failure. have a backup broadband connection, that will ensure if their primary connection goes down they will not miss a call.

The requirement: previously had an unreliable telecoms system with a single point of failure, that was coming to end of life. The existing system did not have remote worker capability, video conferencing, or CRM Integration. One of the drivers for the new system came from Storm Ophelia back in November 2017 when none of the staff were able to make it into the office and there was no means of redirecting calls. The management team of required a business telecoms system provider who could deliver that system that meets all of their requirements, that delivered key cost savings with the Total cost of ownership of a feature-rich on-premise solution with SIP Trunks to ensure business continuity in any event.






The solution:

After meeting and understanding the requirements of and discussing the benefits of Hosted telephony or 3CX deployed on an IP server. The 3CX solution on a server provided a greater total cost of ownership, with built-in features that really interested them such as CRM Integration, Call Recording and Call logs and live wallboard reporting.

In light of the heavy snow in the previous week, the 3CX solution allowed to keep running and all staff were able to work from home with the 3CX soft client without having to set up a VPN.

We transitioned and ported all of their existing phone numbers to Blueface and configured all points of failover in the event of an event such as a power issue that to ensure that never miss a call.
